One Piece: The Beast Pirates' Biggest Weakness!

 

The Beast pirate group is known as one of the strongest pirate groups in One Piece, because of their devil fruit powers. However, are they really that strong? The reason is, in the latest chapter of the manga yesterday it was shown that they were finally defeated. Being part of the Yonko, of course the Beast pirate group is not a random group.

The Beast group is known for their extraordinary physical abilities. This is because almost all of his subordinates are users of the Zoan type devil fruit, which is known as a devil fruit that is able to make its users turn strong. In fact, thanks to this devil fruit their leader, Kaido, became the most powerful being in the world.

However, even though they have a very outstanding reputation, in reality they are not always the strongest. In chapter 1022 yesterday it was shown how in the end the Beast pirate group was defeated by Luffy's alliance troops on Onigashima. Based on that chapter too, many fans think that this group is actually weak and overhyped.

Then, what is the real weakness of the pirate group? The Beast Pirates didn't have team synergy or the ability to work together, nor could they be independent. Compared to the Straw Hats or Big Mom's pirate group, Kaido's crew was very weak in that area and that was a factor in their defeat at Onigashima.

Team synergy is very vital for a pirate group, even for pirate groups in New World. Apart from Ulti and Page One (who are indeed family), there is almost no Beast pirate group that cooperates or does team synergy. Instead, they compete with each other and try to bring each other down.

Everything is for the sake of the existing position. As shown earlier, King challenges the Flying Six to shift his position if they are able to defeat him. And Kaido doesn't seem to forbid it either. It is this rivalry that actually makes the situation within the group worse, and is the reason why the Flying Six never work together. They only work alone with their group.

Apart from the Flying Six, the All-Stars themselves often have different opinions and hate each other. At its core, the Beast pirate group is arguably the most out of tune pirate group in the entire series. They were completely different from the Big Mom pirate group. Even in the Beast group, there is no "vice captain" like in the Big Mom group.

Big Mom's group has Perospero and Katakuri who can replace Big Mom. Or maybe Zoro and Sanji can replace Luffy when he's absent. In the Beast group, almost no one can rely on to replace Kaido. The All-Stars don't seem to want to move if there really isn't anything important. And the Flying Six also won't make a move if no prizes are offered.

The only thing the Beasts have in common is a fear of Kaido. And as many have shown, those who work and are under pressure and fear will certainly not be effective. And it is not impossible that they will defect. This was later proven when Queen attacked her own subordinates which made them eventually switch sides to Luffy's alliance.
