My Hero Academia Ends Next Year!
Since March 2021 yesterday, fans of the manga series My Hero Academia have been preparing for the final story of the series considering that currently the last arc is under way. However, from what was presented by the mangaka, Kohei Horikoshi, it is possible that the final story of the series will be sooner than the fans previously thought.
As you know, My Hero Academia is one of the series that appears in the annual Jump Festa event panel. The panel revealed that the anime series will be returning for a sixth season. In addition to information about the manga's sixth season, the My Hero Academia panel also presented a message from the mangaka, one of which was to say that the series would finish in 2022.
In an official statement presented at the event, Horikoshi said, "If everything goes well, My Hero Academia will reach its final story, more or less, within the next one year. If things don't go well, I think at next year's Jump Festa, I'll have Yamashita-San (voice of Deku) read the same statement."
Based on what is presented in the story in the current manga, not a few fans doubt Horikoshi's statement. However, there are not a few fans who agree and support the story until next year. The current situation really supports ending the story, as now Deku has learned not just one, but all the quirks in One For All.
But, of course, it is hoped that Horikoshi can end the manga well. It is hoped that all stories can be completed properly, so that there is no need to rush to actually end the manga. Because the fans certainly want Horikoshi to present the best to be able to close the story, like many other series. If Horikoshi rushes, it's not impossible that a negative reaction will arise among the fans.
Previously, the COVID-19 pandemic had disrupted My Hero Academia's schedule which made Horikoshi apologize to all the fans. With everything returning to normal, albeit slowly, it is hoped that the series can stay on track and run according to ability. We'll just wait for the continuation of the story, friends!
